The Giro d'Italia lands in Cesenatico!

It will not be a normal arrival but a historic and unrepeatable event with the group that will leave and arrive in Cesenatico.

In fact, to celebrate the 50th edition of the Nove Colli Granfondo, the 12th stage of the Giro d'Italia was designed on the same roads as the oldest in the world and most famous in Europe.

The athletes will cover the 205 km of the Granfondo Nove Colli, climbing the nine hills immersed in the Romagna hills in a great circuit of over 200km from the sea to the mountain and back.

The stage includes a difference in height of 3840mt with 89km of climbs and false plateaus.

The event, initially scheduled for May 21, was postponed by RCS, according to the provisions of the Covid infection containment measures.

The new date has been set for Thursday 15 October 2020.
