Writing for the theater is experiencing a season of renewed attention, thanks also to the pedagogical commitment of a generation like that of Lucia Calamaro, who has built her own educational path independently, without institutional support, and who for this very reason has put the of one's artistic action also the generational passage, the transmission of knowledge .

What are the emerging writings? What are the themes and approaches? When is theater writing free to invent and how much does it follow already beaten models? What are the concerns, urgencies and imaginative universes of those who write for the stage today?
